About Us

Learning Edventures is a family-founded tutoring and educational services company dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized instruction that supports the academic and emotional growth of students from early childhood through high school. What began in 2015 as after-school English, math, and homework tutoring for a few elementary students has since evolved into a dynamic, full-service tutoring business co-led by Dr. Ariel N. Henry and Justin N. Henry.

Although the business informally began in 2015, Learning Edventures became an approved 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2021—further solidifying our mission to make quality education accessible to all.

Over the years, Learning Edventures has grown solely through word-of-mouth and referrals—a testament to the strong relationships we’ve built with families and the tangible results our students achieve. Our services span foundational skills in handwriting, reading, and math to advanced instruction in science, social studies, and standardized test preparation. We specialize in tailoring instruction to each child’s learning profile, with a focus on boosting confidence, curiosity, and academic independence.

In 2020, we transitioned to a fully remote learning model, which allowed us to double our student reach while maintaining our personalized approach. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of working with students across New York City, Long Island, and California—including San Diego—as well as internationally in China, delivering consistent, engaging instruction across time zones.

We now serve students from Kindergarten through Grade 12, with expanded offerings in early childhood literacy, high school subject tutoring, and summer enrichment programs—including typing, financial literacy, and Google Sheets/Excel.

Looking ahead, Learning Edventures is committed to aligning instruction with New York State standards and integrating social-emotional learning (SEL) and study skills into every session. We believe in removing barriers to learning by equipping each student with essential supplies and subscribing them to high-quality digital learning tools.
