Our Team

Ariel Henry is a passionate educator and nonprofit leader committed to advancing equity, innovation, and inquiry in education. As the Founder and Director of Learning EdVentures, Inc., she brings visionary leadership to a nonprofit organization dedicated to delivering flexible, accessible virtual tutoring to students and families. Her approach integrates interactive tools, research-based strategies, and a deep understanding of community needs.

At The Kew-Forest School, Dr. Henry serves as both Assistant Head of Lower School and International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) Coordinator. She leads the implementation of culturally responsive, inquiry-based social studies curricula across grades K–5, supports teachers in literacy integration, and fosters a strong professional learning culture. She also facilitates transdisciplinary planning meetings and engages families in the IB learning journey through workshops and communications.

A lifelong learner herself, Ariel holds an Ed.D. from St. John’s University, where she was honored with the Dr. Gene Geisert Outstanding Dissertation Award. Her leadership is informed by a strong background in teacher training, curriculum development, and inclusive practices.

Whether designing a new curriculum, mentoring educators, or launching student-centered programs, Dr. Henry brings dedication, creativity, and compassion to every project she leads.

Justin Henry began working in commercial real estate in 2017. He initially joined a real estate development and financial advisory firm where he worked alongside the sales and acquisitions team to procure distressed assets across the five boroughs of New York.

He later transitioned into a financial role when he joined Silverthread Capital, a mortgage brokerage firm. His commercial real estate finance experience began as a Lead Generator to the team. He later assumed the role as a Commercial Mortgage Broker, then finally became the team’s Financial Analyst and Operations Manager.

Mr. Henry later joined Carlyle Financial as the group’s Senior Financial Analyst. There he works with the Principal, underwriting and processing loan requests for owners and investors of commercial property. Mr. Henry has worked on major asset classes including Multifamily, Mixed-Use, Retail, and Office. Other property types that he has worked with include bed and breakfast, school, gas station, and house of worship.

Mr. Henry also co-owns and manages Learning Edventures Inc. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit virtual tutoring business, his firm provides students as young as kindergarten through college with remediation and enrichment services; coaching and support needs; test preparation skills; and interactive group activities that takes in-the-classroom knowledge and apply it to real world experiences.

Mr. Henry earned his Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investments at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. He also earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management and an MBA in Risk Management and Insurance from St. John’s University’ Tobin College of Business.
